Outside the front entrance of the church is a lovely red-brick shrine for Our Lady of Guadalupe. This image of the patroness of Mexico can be viewed day and night.
A colorful blue and golden image of Our Lady is painted on a white-tile surface edged with decorative blue embedded in the brick shrine. Above and below the image are encouraging words for petitioners. Over the image are the words in Spanish, “He has not done the same thing with any town (any people) nor has He entrusted His projects to others” and below are the words, “I am here. Am I not your Mother?” Just below the top of the shrine is a decorative cross, and the viewing area in front of the shrine has a red rose adorning a white tile surface.
