Featured Churches for The Visitation

The celebration of joy is commemorated in the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Gospel of Luke (Lk 1:39-56) tells the story of the joyful meeting of Mary and her cousin Elizabeth, with her unborn son, St. John the Baptist. From this passage come two of the most memorable and important Marian prayers: The Hail Mary and The Magnificat.
