St. Joseph’s Church, Geneva, NE

St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church

Saint Joseph’s Church in Geneva, Nebraska is modern structure which was built in 1999 to replace the decades-old neo-Gothic church building on the same site. The church was able to retain much of it’s traditional feel by incorporating most of the historic statues and stained-glass windows from the prior structure. The red-brick facing evokes the memory of the old steepled-church, and inside is a serene experience within an open space surrounded by sacred images and a beautiful golden tabernacle situated beneath a life-size Crucifixion scene.
