Sacred Heart Church has one of the most beautiful Infant Jesus shrines along the left side-wall of the nave.
The traditionally designed image is housed in a marble-framed enclosure topped with two small angels facing a golden orb with a cross on the top. The decorative framing includes white metal fleurs-de-lis, stars and flowers consistent with many of the French architecture aspects of the church. Infant Jesus is holding a blue globe with a cross in His left hand and right hand raised in supplication. He is crowned with a red crown and wears a red robe over a cream tunic. The lovely statue is backlighted and makes the sky blue backwall glow when lit.
