On the left side of the entry vestibule is a statue of Mother Mary and Baby Jesus.
Both statues wear red crowns and are draped with garlands. On this day, Mother Mary was adorned in a green sari with a royal blue cape; and Baby Jesus a white lace gown. The statue is backdropped by a stunning frame of white and golden arches with decorative ribbing. The rounded inner arch is surrounded by a larger, columned, flat-top arch, with both arches draped with white string lights. The piercing gaze of the statue is a reminder of Mother Mary’s care of all of Her children.
