Resurrected Jesus Window — St. Joseph Church, Geneva

A refurbished large window from the old church overlooks the faithful gathering for worship.

On the wall separating the narthex and nave, above the entrance is another large stained-glass window depicting the triumphant resurrected Jesus with the resurrection banner is His right hand and left hand raised in blessing. He and two seated angels on either side are surrounded by heavenly clouds beneath three royal arches. A large circular window reminiscent of a rose window shows a haloed lamb (representing Christ’s sacrifice prior to the resurrection) encircled with a decorative leaf pattern – the everlasting symbols of “alpha” and “omega” flank the circle.
